Made in Russia: The Tula TOZ-17-01, based on the TOZ-17 ( which was designed 1956 – 1957 ), is a bolt action repeating rifle chambered in caliber .22lr.
It is a so called „cadet rifle“, which is used for training and hunting and was produced from 1976 on.

The Tula TOZ-17 is a .22 LR, bolt-action repeating rifle with a 5-round detachable magazine. It was designed in 1956. It has a similar appearance, sights and functions much the same as the Mosin–Nagant rifle. It intended for professional and amateur hunting and sport shooting.
